Spending time with my best friend, Creative Librarian. We just flow well together. I was thinking about it, there isn't much we don't jive on, but here are two: I don't watch movies, which she loves, and she doesn't particularly enjoy Chinese food, which I really like. Other than that, we drink the same cider, enjoy the same foods, like walking and beads and art and music, and go at complementary paces through life. Tonight we sat and talked on the porch with a bottle, then went for a light gourmet dinner and bought beads.
Buying new beads. These are faceted glass, lovely shades of aqua and green, with silvered ends. There is such potential in a string of beads: who knows what they will be made into or who will be decorated by wearing them?
Being up late in the house when everyone else is asleep. It is peaceful - no demands, just relaxation.
